Helping Hands for Haiti is a nonprofit charitable organization which places emphasis on helping impoverished Haitian children obtain education, nutrition, healthcare and vocational training.

Haiti has approximately half a million children living as orphans

Nearly half of Haiti’s population are children under the age of 18, and over 300,000 of these children forced into slave-like conditions. For only $250, you can pay a child’s tuition and books for an entire school year

Opportunities

Helping Hands for Haiti offers the chance to complete medical internships in Haiti. Our medical team, led by Doctor Wisly Charles, works with the government health department to offer you the best experience needed. Part of your experience will include mobile clinic aid throughout the small towns and villages within Haiti. Your time in Haiti will give you experience working in local hospitals, exposure to the Haitian culture, and the opportunity to help those truly in need. Whether you are a doctor, nurse, medical student or biology student, we have a course specifically for you.

Unlike other Non-Profits, Helping Hands for Haiti guarantees that 90% of your donation will go DIRECTLY TO THE CHILDREN it is intended to help! And we help you develop a relationship with your sponsored child where you can visit, communicate by mail, or even plan for a time and date for you to call while you have a translator facilitating the conversation between you and your sponsored child.
